Königsbrücke und Königskollonaden
Reconstruction of the “Königsbrücke” in its former position in front of Alexanderplatz. The Königsbrücke crossed the Baroque fortress moat (Königsgraben) and connected the original City with Alexanderplatz.
The former fortress moat was filled in in the mid-19th century and the S-Bahn line between Hackescher Markt and Jannowitzbrücke was laid in it.
