Talk About the Weather, April 5th

by Eberle, Lars 17 March 2011 in Talk About the Weather

The Lake

Patrick Juchli presents The Lake, a sound journey for the iPhone quite unlike anything else you might have seen. All you've got is a playing card and all you can do is turn it once, twice, many times. Every time you turn the card you delve deeper into a journey to the lake.

After a sneak peak, he will talk a bit on how it all came about. How things looked more like a game at the beginning and how it ended up not being one. And of course we also want to know what's next. But first, head on to the site and have a look for yourself. Don't miss the trailer.

SmirkMasks

Masks protect, they hide or give you another personality - if you need one. Berlin based Artist/Designer Mirco Erbe aka Smirk talks about his customized fiberglass and leather Helmet/Masks, far beyond any horror or fetish pre-justice.

Jason Glade,  a creative director and photographer well known for his eclectic style and unusual approach to fashion and advertising photography will talk about  FreeStyleMagazine- a round magazine that fits into afrisbee. His talk will be about the creative process from idea to realization.

Grace

by Schneider, Carsten 21 November 2009 in Just Interesting

Grace, the latest project of Michael Hecken, is a new type of electric bike, combining the light-weight design of a mountain bike with the performance of a scooter. Top speed is 45km/h in the street-legal version, range between 30 and 50km, and it only takes one hour to fully charge.

Grace bikes are made to order, hand-crafted in Biesenthal, just outside Berlin, where Michael also hosts the annual ART Biesenthal.

Update: Join us for an exclusive making-of presentation, December 1st, at our monthly "Talk about the Weather".

Who We Are and What We Do

Meyer, Miller, Smith.

Head. Hands. Heart. We believe that there is a real connection between craftsmanship and communication.

As information and intelligence becomes the domain of computers, society will place more value on the one human ability that cannot be automated: Emotions.

People want to experience beauty, enjoy one’s work, feel passion, they want to interact with each other. We all want.

That’s why we believe that the future of brands is interaction, not commodity. It’s not something you buy, but something you participate in.
