Table Berlin, 2010

by Eberle, Lars 4 June 2010 in Table Berlin

Berlin's vibrant city-scape is a clash of modern architecture, neo-renaissance buildings, and east-german prefab tower blocks. Elements from all these can be found in this new table, simply named after its inspiration – "Berlin".

Variations

The table has been designed to blend into contemporary living and working spaces, continuing Berlin's unique exterior inside. It combines the characteristics of a dinner table with those of a desk – ideal if your home is your office, or your office is your home.

The middle console contains two multi-plugs and offers plenty of space for power supplies, hard drives, and other electronic equipment

Each table is handcrafted and built to order. The legs are made from lathed German beechwood, and can be disassembled for easy transportation. The table top and middle console are from mirror-finished MDF.

Special thanks to Sonja Mueller for the beautiful photography and to Christoph Westerbarkey for the great foto studio in Berlin (delight rental studios berlin)

Who We Are and What We Do

Meyer, Miller, Smith.

Head. Hands. Heart. We believe that there is a real connection between craftsmanship and communication.

As information and intelligence becomes the domain of computers, society will place more value on the one human ability that cannot be automated: Emotions.

People want to experience beauty, enjoy one’s work, feel passion, they want to interact with each other. We all want.

That’s why we believe that the future of brands is interaction, not commodity. It’s not something you buy, but something you participate in.
