Here is one of the very few examples of how wonderful a product website can feel. Its a very fluid experience switching between videos and clean product shots, zooming in and out. The whole project feels quite unpretentious and natural, creating a nice brand experience and contrast to all the other bold advertising rubbish out there.
Former colleague and street-art artist Ronzo just published a short making off documentary about a credit crunch monster popping up around London's financial district.
Ronzo's Pity of London - Part 2 from Ronzo on Vimeo.
The 'City of London' statue is a dragon sculpture marking the boundaries of London's financial district since centuries. The 'Pity of London' statue is a sculpture of 'Crunchy - The Credit Crunch Monster' munching on a pound coin. It marks the home of the credit crunch.

Berlin based, urban culture and graffiti book specialists From Here To Fame Publishing are pleased to present the first round of titles from their spring 2010 catalogue: Calligraffiti – The Graphic Art of Niels "Shoe" Meulman and On The Run Book # 7- Graffiti Tattoo – Kings on Skin.
The lecture of the two authors Niels Meulman and Adam Eeuwens starts Thursday the 11th at 8pm in our Basement Bar.

Street-edge meets high-end design as contemporary Dutch calligrapher, typographer and designer Niels Meulman, also known as graffiti artist “SHOE” from the legendary Crime Time Kings, explores the contours of words as images in "Calligraffiti" - his hybrid art form which blends calligraphy and graffiti. He presents for our viewing pleasure a wonderful interplay of contrasts, such as ‘black-white’ and ‘rise-fall’, with a series of fast phrases and upbeat witticisms in the form of captivating typographic masterpieces.

Otto Pfeiffer’s OKI-restaurant had a cult following in Berlin, his inventive frisian-japanese cuisine earned him a „Prix du fooding de la meilleure table fusion“. Now Otto is back with his newest innovation: OKI Food takes the old-fashioned way of conservating food in glasses and turns it into contemporary gourmet food. There also might be a chance to sample his fresh and delicious creations.

Nicely crafted music video for new Ramona Falls single, directed by the talented Stefan Nadelman.

Here are some recent impressions from inside the studio and our basement bar.
There seem to be endless new business opportunities through twitter. This page bundles all tweets of people publishing that they are currently not at home.

For Meyer, Miller, Smith we reevaluated the functionality of business-cards from scratch. What information does a name card in the digital age actually need?
The MMS card focusses on creating a tangible impression, one which communicates the craftsmanship aspect, love for detail and simplicity of the brand. The carrier is a thick piece of leather with the embossed logo on one side and a flat color printed on the back.
Instead of printing individual cards for each of us, we decided to print just one blank card for everyone and produce individual rubber stamps which contain a name and a link to all other contact information on the website.
Online people can download all relevant information straight away.to their address book and find the address information linked to google maps.

more information on:

Corporate Design for German IT company Signal 7.
The name initially derived from signals which are used in Linux to communicate processes.
Signal 7 was a sign for a critical system error.
For the new corporate design, we decided to leave this initial meaning aside and focus on signals sent by people being completely lost.
The cool and slightly technical design plays with all kind of signals, morse code, signal rockets, etc.

Our February Talk will feature the following 2 speakers:
The SOZIALHELDEN started in 2005. Time has gone by. And with the help of the two student initiators the SOZIALHELDEN have turned into a big network of voluntaries and a charitable organization. With creative projects they draw attention to social problems and - in the best case - remove them.
Raúl Aguayo-Krauthausen will present their latest project http://wheelmap.org/. The internet platform enables users to enter, change and find accessible and not so accessible locations.

For more than 5 years cinematographer Tomas Erhart has been taking still-pictures with his first generation cellphone-camera. One can see his highly respected work in exhibitions and on his website: http://cellphonology.com/
In “Talk about the Weather” Tomas speaks about pixels, Lomography, digital pictures and the hardship and pleasure of being a part-time foto-artist.
